Well you know what? I think this is the first live album entry on this list! This one, from a Portland show, gets a nod for the sheer maniacal energy it exudes, and for the brilliant 14 and a half minute Slip It In/Gimme Gimme Gimme ‘medley’. By this time, 1986, Black Flag were more metal than punk, but musically were at their peak. Rollins is as demented and as filled with righteous anger as ever. As far as a live document goes this is the shit, covering all stages of their career up to that point. And the production is superb.
