But ATS is pure, glistening ’80’s melancholia, complete with  standout proggy/tribal epics (Life In The Gladhouse), chiming new wave (Someone’s Calling), new romatic-types (After The Snow, Melt With You), and even some semi-goth thrown in (Face Of Wood). Truthfully it’s n ot that commercial an album, in hindsight. Quite experimental for a band known for perhaps the most overplayed song of the 1980’s.
